At the Essex Inn, we take pride in providing our guests with a creative repertoire of interesting foods and taste combinations.
Our pork and eggs are sourced locally from the Funny Farm. Fresh Beef comes from Monrovia Farms, and produce is from Garner's Produce. All of these purveyors practice sustainable farming methods with minimal to no chemical use. The coffees and teas served at the Inn are from fair-traded companies. Herbs are from our garden or Garners. Jams & jellies are locally made, and the baked goods are straight from our kitchen whenever possible. Experimenting with new and varied recipes and presenting filling meals in an eye-pleasing manner are cornerstones of our service.
Some of our personal breakfast favorites include French Toast topped with a seasonal berry compote, and the always popular Creamy Egg strata with cheeses. Contact us about hosting your special event. We offer private, intimate dinners for 8 people to large gatherings.
