This suite was part of the Quarters built before the main house in the 1850s. It was originally used as the kitchen and still has the original fireplace, complete with the iron swing arm used to hold pots over the fire. The fireplace has been converted to gas and is located in the living room on the ground floor along with the kitchen. There is a private patio off the kitchen. The living room also has a twin size day bed with large bolsters across the back for comfortable TV watching or reading. The room has many vintage "kitchen" type items to add to the charm. The bedroom, which has a queen bed, is located upstairs along with the bathroom. Its color scheme features blues and creams with touches of green, making this a really pleasant room.
